The cable is rated at 10 AWG and is absolutely huge compared to the stock cord. The wall plug portion is a Hubble plug and the IEC I'm not sure, didn't notice and don't want to pull everything out now. It has a woven exterior shield and is quite heavy but flexible enough to do the job. Installation was uneventfull.

Give Transparent a call. The reason that the Powerlink MM2x were released so soon after the MM2 version was they did find a way to improve the design. I upgraded mine after a brief audition in my system. I didn't think they would be as big of surprise and I wish they weren't. One could go crazy swapping cables and power cords.
