I would suggest that the Trans-Fi Audio Resomat will work very well, there are many entries on other forums praising Reso-Mat. I phoned Vic who is Trans-Fi Audio; he said pointed side up favours treble & fat side up favours bass, they make a few types to suit various turntables ie Garrard 301/401 or universal.
