After much research, I have come to the conclusion that the K&K Pure Western Mini (now called the K&K Pure Mini) is the best Soundboard Transducer for acoustic guitars in terms of accurately replicating the wood of the guitar. The PutW #54 sounds like it has more "wood" and "air" in its sound than the Trance, while the Trance sounds cleaner. My hunch is that PutW #54 sounds better mixed with another pickup whereas the Trance sounds better standalone.
