Audio Latency settings? | NI Community Forum

If you set it 256mb, Traktor will load 12 - 13 minutes of the track into memory and you'll be gap free. If you take it down to 48000hz or 44100hz, you get the same amount of time using 128mb, or double the time at 256mb. Does that make sense? --- Oh, and I've got a Sony Vaio, 2.4ghz dual-core, 4gb memory. I'm running at 96000hz with 6ms latency.

Below the Audio device menu, you can choose your Sample Rate and Latency settings. The recommended setting for using Traktor on most MacBook Pro is 44100 Hz Sample rate and 512 MS Latency. This is because this is the standard sample rate used by most CDs. If you’re a turntablist, you might want to use a lower latency setting.

Traktor Pro 2 latency settings - DJ TechTools

Just raise it a bit until you don't hear it any more, and don't worry about latency unless you actually notice it when playing. Also, make sure your sample rate isn't too high. 44,100 is fine and anything higher will unnecessarily push latency up.

On Windows, a KOMPLETE AUDIO device is listed as Komplete Audio ASIO Driver. 3. Sample Rate. The Sample Rate field defines the audio quality during recording and playback. The higher the sample rate, the better the sound quality. A sample rate of 44100 Hz equals CD Quality. A sample rate of 48000 Hz is common for use with pro audio equipment.

Gig Performer | Audio latency, buffer size and sample rate ...

    https://gigperformer.com/audio-latency-buffer-size-and-sample-rate-explained/
How does this relate to latency? If your buffer size is 256 and your sampling rate is 44,100 times per second (Hz means cycles per second) then your latency will be (256/44,100) seconds which is 0.0058 seconds or 5.8ms. Now you can experiment with this. What kind of impact will doubling the sample rate have? If you set it to 96KHz you will get 256/96,000 = …

I’ve installed Traktor PRO 3.5.0 270 on MacBook Air M1 16 GB Big Sur At any sample rate and buffer size, it produces a significant latency. Smallest one is with Sample Rate 96000 HZ and buffer size 64. With this settings latency is 13,5 ms (Processing 0.7 ms+ 12.8 ms Output) If I increase buffer size or decrease sample rate latency increases.

A buffer size of 256 samples is a good starting point. Decrease this value to 128 samples if there is a noticeable lag between your actions and the audio playback, for example when playing virtual instruments live with a keyboard. Increase to 512 samples if …

Optimising The Latency Of Your PC Audio Interface

If, for example, your buffers are running with a sample rate of 44.1kHz and have a 12ms latency, they only need to be filled and emptied about 86 times per second. But if you attempt to reduce buffer size to 64 samples at 44.1kHz, to achieve a latency of 1.5ms, you have to fill these buffers 689 times a second, and each time you do the drivers ...
