If the Audio 2 is working with Traktor then clearly the computer operating system is aware of it, and the driver is correctly installed. Therefore, VDJ should be able to access the Audio 2 via the same driver. Are you absolutely 100% certain that you have configured the audio setup in VDJ correctly? You've not posted a picture of the settings you're using.

I could fix this problem by adding a configuration file to pulseaudio. As root, go to /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/profile-sets. You will see there are conf files for the audio6, audio8, etc, but nothing for the audio 2. THOUGH, surprisingly, a file named native-instruments-traktor-audio2.conf IS referenced in /lib/udev/rules.d/90-pulseaudio.rules .
