Preamp sounds warm & full. I was using a tl audio 5050 preamp before this with tubes in it. Afc-2 preamp sounds warm and smooth without tubes. I always thought you had to have a tube preamp for a warm sound but after recording through toft I was blown away by the warmth & detail of the recording. To top it all off the Eq sounds amazing also.
