I have a 10-year old Model One that has a growing problem with the tuner dial not matching what station is being pulled in (i.e.- a station transmitting at 550AM has to be tuned to 590-600AM to be heard). They don't say why, but I assume it is to redistribute the lubricant and help wipe the shaft clean making a better electrical connection.
