I followed Sacrifice's suggestion and added the -heapsize parameter to my command line, specifying 768MB of RAM for TF2. It doesn't entirely resolve the issue, but it helps (some times more than others). The stuttering seems less frequent after the first 3-5 minutes of gameplay using the -heapsize parameter. This is driving me insane. TF2 is randomly pausing during gameplay and stuttering for like 5 seconds before going back to gameplay. Long story short, TF2 played fine then I stopped playing it for awhile. Came back to play it and I find myself having 'stuttering' while playing, more specifically the characters are stuttering around very slightly along with my field of view to a small extent. Edit - also seems to be doing it with certain projectiles such as jarate.
