Hi. Just got a Sony Bravia KD-55XD8505B and for some reason audio description is enabled. I've just spent a great deal of time googling this and reading the manual. Haven't been able to turn it off. The googling resultied in go to HOME/Setting/Digital Setup/etc. Would probably work except that I don't have a "Digital Setup" in my "Settings" menu.

A software update became available today and now the software version is PKG6.3770.0471NAA. I believe the broadcaster was packaging the Audio Description on one of the two SAP (Second Audio Program) streams. The earlier version of the Sony software refused to switch between the two streams. I can see that this new version does switch.
