According to "reviews" the "LORE" will not only play louder (if need be) but are also very good sounding at "low" volumes. If I were to purchase the "LORE", it would replace my old pair of POLK 10 Monitors. I admit to very much liking the POLK's but, I suspect the new "LORE" Speakers would outperform (in most every way) the older Polk's.

At 58 pounds, 12 inches wide, 13 inches deep and 39 inches high, the Lore is stable, firmly rooted to the floor, very kid and klutz-friendly. I recently purchased a pair of Tekton Design Lore speakers. I made this move because of all the reviews about how well they work with tubes. I'm using these with a variant of the YAQIN MC-100B Integrate.
