I have a sound card and an external capture card. Currently, my gaming laptop is my streaming PC and my AverMedia Live Gamer Extreme capture card pulls video from my graphics card, yadda yadda. What I've been doing for audio is having my capture card listen to the Stereo Mix in my sound card and I was getting reliable audio for my stream that way.

Very interesting thread Project86 (as usual with you). I've just found 2 new streaming audio devices made by Pioneer : the N50 and the N30 ($699 and $499). The N50 is a streaming device and an USB dac (async. 24/192) with coaxial and optical inputs. The N30 is only a streaming device, it doesn't have the USB input, nor the digital inputs.

Started streaming and everything worked great. Came home the next day tried some streaming and the Audio no longer comes through. Well. the disconnections continue randomly (wifi or wired, the same). When it happens, the right light on the stream stays green and the D70 continue to receive a flow : but no sound for several seconds. It's never happening when I use airplay. I really don't know if it's coming from the stream or my network. I will wait for the next update.
