The 720 can handle audio over HDMI and I presume it is v1.3 so you will get auto lip-sync from other HDMI v1.3 devices e.g. Bluray. I have a Humax freesat box and can confirm it has a lip sync feature. I never once had the cause to use it when it was hooked up in my main system. I now have a built-in Freesat TV plus Sky+HD. Matt_C
