    Part of this is because the ST55 is not the entry level condenser for Sterling Audio/Groove Tube. There wasn't an overpowering high end response like other mics have. The only downfall for me was that my mic died after a year and a half. I babied the mic, always used a pop filter, and in fact put the mic away whenever I was finished using it.
