Well, CI2+ has a programmable footswitch! You just hit it once to record, hit it again to stop, and again to rewind. Genius! (Or you can use the built in transport controls on the interface) Another issue with other interfaces was control room vs headphone mix volumes. On the CI2+ you have discrete control over both. The preamps sound great.
