some audio decoders simply have connection issues. Only option is to select/install a compatible audio decoder. I always suggest ac3filter, since it's free and works quite well in combination with SmartDVB.

Hello, I think you should be able to view the filter actually used by dvbdream in the video settings if i remember correctly. I also seem to remember that app does some kind of fallback if the selected decoder doesn't work, i don't have such a thing in smartdvb.

The problem is when Nvidia is selected Smartdvb will not playback video channels that have AC3 audio, such as DECADES on SES1, but will work for AAC and other audio formats. I can clear the decocer errors by swithching the renderer to realtek, this config will not play digital audio as it is disabled due to the presence of the video card.
