I loaded Windows 8 from the partner program. I assume it is a release version because it had a key. My issue is using both the Slingplayer and the Slingplayer browser plugin I get a serious audio lag. This is on the same local segment as the Slingbox, not remote access. Works fine on my Windows 7 computers. Thanks!

I've had nothing but problems with SlingPlayer and Chromecast as well. Freezing, dropped frames, out of sync audio, pixilated picture, etc. Mirroring a Chrome tab from my laptop and mirroring my phone work better than actual casting which makes zero sense.
