Digital Audio Output Settings. 05 Sep 2021 01:03 PM. Just an interesting observation. I run my Sky Q box through a Pioneer LX901 AV reciever so I set the HDMI Digital Audio Output to Dolby Digital Plus so I can get Atmos when available.

I have a Sky+ box hooked up via optical output to an Onkyo 606. If I set the Sky + box to output Dolby Digital sound and set the Onkyo to Pro logic, I get electronic interference (sounding like a DAB radio that hasn't got a strong enough signal). If I change the audio output to stereo and put the amp on pro logic it's crystal clear.

Re: Audio out. 19 Dec 2021 12:33 PM. I had to buy an HDMI eARC extractor, then try and miss, at end all worked and I can now output the audio via my existing Amplifier. See pictures of my connections, also settings. "Auto" gives me a flat sound with no bass, "passthrough" gives me all the sound effects plus bass. Report post.
