What do you mean "restore the voices?" When D3T ported this game, they converted all of the audio from the Yamaha AICA ADPCM Stream format, to the xWMA format.

Given the Shenmue I's audio is 986 MB for English, don't you think it'll probably be larger on the orginial discs? I'm not saying better-someone would have to compare the two. PS: I didn't own a dreamcast or xbox. I stated that Sega doesn't have the masters for the audio for the games so they sound like garbage and possibly Dreamcast's audio ...

Tried changing audio device from 0 all the way up to 9 in that Settings file. Enabling compatiblity mode in for the various Windows versions for the Shenmue.exe. Setting different audio devices as default/primary in Windows. Disabling all other audio devices except the primary.
