Now that there are plenty of pics/videos of the 2013, I'm pretty convinced the new Shaker system is the same speaker configuration as the 500. Door subs and 5x7s all around. I don't doubt that there are two amplifiers, one for the subs and one for the 4 5x7s, but I think the two subs mentioned above are in the doors, not the trunk.

609 Posts. #12 · Oct 23, 2013. I'm not impressed with my Shaker Pro to any high degree! For 2013/14 Ford cheapened the system in a number of areas vs the old Shaker 1000. They replaced the dual trunk subwoofer with a single one, and reduced the max 1000w RMS down to 525w RMS. The power reduction is very evident.
