Greetings, I currently have a pair of Selah SSRs. I’ve been running them with a phantom center for about 6 months. I’m considering buying the 3 way Selah Sardonyx kit but I’ve been hesitant due too the cost and its not really a timber match to the scanspeak in the SSR.

The Selah Audio Purezza is a very accurate and enjoyable speaker. While the low frequency trend native to the speaker may be a problem to some, it can be resolved by Rick easily from what he says. I simply used an electronic low-shelf filter to resolve this and was on my way (and, thus, my comments below are with this adjustment).

The 5.5" Revelator is a great woofer but low in sensitivity so I prefer using two per speaker in a MTM configuration. The SSR's 7" will give you more output capability and higher sensitivity while retaining the excellent midrange that these drivers are known for.
