After playing through the Seismic Audio 2x10", I noticed a crisper sound, and better note articulation--faster response--than a 15" speaker can provide. After my first night on stage with the new cab, no less than FOUR people came up to me and commented positively about my playing. That rarely happens to a bass player--we're just not heard!

Bottom line: the cabs are sturdy, light, and sound great. They are priced to provide significant value, and are configured to provide flexibility in setting up your rig. Jun 3, 2006. El Paso TX (formely New Orleans, LA) I have a 2X10 seismic audio, it works fine for very low volume practice. If I turned up the Hartke past 4 or 5, it starts to fart and break up I am considering putting it on the curb once I get a better cab. Feb 2, 2008 #10.

I've been shopping for a 1x12 cab. I'll be using it with a 12w head for home playing and recording. Looking at a Celestion Greenback, an Eminence Private Jack, or a WGS Green Beret speaker.
