To call SA crap is to insult crap. If you think your Yammies distort too much, you are going to hate the SAs. You would do better to switch to a bullhorn. Do yourself a favor, save up until you can buy better. This isn't it. Coaster Members 6.8k Members Posted December 11, 2012

The consensus seems to be that Seismic Audio is crap, even the dual 12 speakers, although I'm still not sure if those might be better than the Yamaha 12" A series we have right now. From the recommendations here, it looks like if those dual 12" SAs are not any better than what we have, my best bet would be to look for some used Yamaha Club 15s?

So you buy a $125.00 POS monitor from Seismic audio {crap} and want to run your bass through it. Yeah like that is going to work. Maybe spend 5x more and you might have a prayer of making it work. Look at decent brands like JBL, QSC, or Yamaha. Jan 18, 2014 #4. DaveSill Supporting Member.

seismic audio line array I am interested to know if any of you gear sluts have actually heard these speakers, it seems there is a lot of trash talk going on hear about this product. I am willing to bet that if the big boys like JBL deducted retail mark up and marketing costs from their price, they would be half the listed price.

Yes, I still have all that expensive crap in my studio, but this is one of things I somehow regret spending (compared to expensive mics, analogue console or gears). Seismic audio doesn't use esoteric parts or even branded, but for studio use without mechanical abuse, I can easy recommend them without shadow of doubt.
