Scanning Audio Units. Every time I start up Logic Pro X i get this meesage: Scanning Audio Units. Logic Pro X will now test 25 installed Audio Unit plug-ins to maximize system stability. This AU validation can take some time. Subsequent launches of Logic Pro X do not require that test and will be much faster.

I cannot detect a pattern, but it seems like every other or every third time. I am running 10.13.3, and the latest Logic Pro 10.4.0.

Method 1: Run the AU Manager from within Logic Pro X. Method 2 : Go to Macintosh HD/Users/Library/Cashes and move the com.apple.audiounits.cashe file to the trash and empty the trash bin.
