Onkyo HT-S5100 audio setup help. So I have the onkyo HT-S5100 home theater with the HT-R560 receiver connected to my panasonic TCP50S1. I used HDMI cables to connect the HD STB to the receiver and also from the receiver to tv. The xbox has component cables directly to the tv. Both the HD STB and xbox have optical outs, as does the tv.

That way I was able to run plain, old analog audio cables (but keep in mind you need 8 cables!) from the 7.1 audio out ports on the back of the Panasonic BD55 to the 7.1 audio input ports on the back of the Onkyo HT-S5100 Surround Sound System and it works great!!
