Reviews of Rythmik subwoofers are a rarity, and this one somehow escaped my notice for the past 7 years! However, it is a great review with the first thorough commentary on the controls of the Rythmik amps (with measurements) that I have found, as well as @ErinH 's insights on how the driver and the controls and the room come together to influence the final SQ.

The Rythmik F12SE played all the normal bass-nut subwoofer test tracks with ease: Bela Fleck & the Flecktones' "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo"? Check. Primus' "My Name is Mud"? Check. Mickey Hart's "Temple Caves"? Check. The F12SE presented these subterranean chestnuts with as much impact and authority as I've ever heard, if not more so.

You get 3-5db more output with the 15" driver and its still just as musical. The only reason I would go with a rythmik 12" is due to serious space limitations. Otherwise the F15 or D15SE should be the first choice. Though, Id still take an F12 over anything from eD.
