I can't seem to get my RX-V461 to recognize anything but 2 channel. This is my setup: Panasonic 50" plasma Toshiba Hd-A2 HD-DVDPlayer Yamaha RX-V461 Comcast HD DVR with HDMI TV connected to both dvd and dvr via hdmi. Connected to receiver via optical. I have screwed around for a couple of hours now and can't seem to get it right.

Basically, with the Best Buy deal I got the v461 for free. You get the Klipsch Quintet III and 10" sub and they throw in the v461. I really liked the way the speakers sound, not sure a about the receiver. Now if I could return it and get them to throw in the v463!! As for the new HDMI connection, could I even take advantage of it?
