    Posted August 10, 2007. Sounds like the Dell version doesn't support AC3, but you should still be able to burn a DVD. Open your project and go to File/Project Settings. Make sure the audio is set for LPCM. Uses more space, but any DVD player can play it.

    Have used Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 to back-up many DVDs ripped with DVD Decrypter or DVDShrink without a problem. Virtually all have AC3 format (a few were done with DTS). Have had no problems, use "Disk Creator Classic", drag the VIDEO_TS folder to the project and burn. The Roxio S/W was included with the Plextor 708a burner.

    A set top player should have no problems with AC3, though. If that was a commercial DVD you used with Shrink, it should have had compliant AC3 audio. A home made DVD may not. Shrink should have passed the audio through with no changes. I would also recommend ImgBurn for burning with Shrink. Roxio and Nero programs aren't that popular …
