Try setting "Win32UltraLowLatencyMode" value in the Rocksmith.INI file to 0. This will disable some of the new latency-reducing techniques we've added in Rocksmith 2014. It'll add a little latency, but may resolve your audio crackling. Try setting the “ForceWDM” value in the Rocksmith.INI file to 1.

In the Fireface USB settings window, the default buffer size setting is 256. With this setting, with the exclusive mode enabled, Rocksmith 2014 will just be muted. If you increase it, you will get audio but it'll be all messed up and crackly. However: If you set it to 96 samples OR LOWER, it will work!
