The reson for this is that sound input that is processed needs ASIO technology for minimal lag but the game does not provide support for this. You either need a professional sound card for ASIO or you need two soundcards and use Asio4All for guitar input with minimal lag. That is if Rocksmith supported audio input through ASIO.
