Jul 24, 2017 @ 9:19am. leave ultralowlatency at 1, it's the absolute LAST thing you should try unsetting. Set latency buffers to at least 2, usually 4, and change the max buffer size to 512 and try different values till you get good results. Make sure your sound device's drivers are as up to date as possible.

To change the latency settings for Rocksmith, you'll have to modify a file called rocksmith.ini (open it with Notepad). The file is found in the installation path of Rocksmith. In my case, it was C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith. The parameters you want to look at are MaxOutputBufferSize and LatencyBuffer.

The lag fix in the menu is for graphical lag, and I believe they may have patched in one for audio lag, but that's not going to affect the amount of time it takes your tv to process the sound from your guitar. You could get the sound and graphics synched up, but you're still not going to have either one synched with your strumming.

The monitor is hooked up via DVI; audio is coming straight off an MSI MB, with no extra sound card. I've disabled any audio processing I can find (I typically don't use any on this PC). For sound, I'm using either a set of Creative Gigaworks speakers (similar to the ones seen in the Rocksmith calibration video), or analog headphones, both get lag.

The optical audio cable; Plug the optical audio to your PS4. I did the arrow all by myself with my amazing photoshop skillz; Then the other end of the optical audio to your converter Optical IN slot.
