The audio is actually much better sounding on the blu-ray than the dvd, but my blu-ray version is the problem. I can live with the backing vocals being really low in the mix (although I would prefer to hear it more), but I gotta have that bass. The problems that many are experiencing with their discs is inexcusable.

REQUEST: McCartney "Rockshow" -- Audio rip of FIXED version of DVD? Several years ago some kind soul offered up an audio-only stereo rip of the "Rockshow" DVD or BluRay. The trouble is, they were working from the first pressing that has the bass frequently dropping out of the mix entirely.

I also watched the BBC broadcast of Rockshow last night up loud on my full setup. As I mentioned yesterday it was a 1 hour edit of the full film. Professionally done (ie not hard cuts etc) from the newly remastered video/audio. No issue at all with the audio. No sub cutouts Tracks in the 1 hour edit were: Venus & Mars Rock Show Jet Let Me Roll It
