If I remember right, it is a simple one step process which isn't any different than ripping a normal redbook CD: Insert the CD and then click on the -> CMP button. From there, EAC rips to WAV and then converts to FLAC using my preferred settings.

The resulting WAV files showed as 6 channel (when hovering over the file with the mouse) but played back as "noise" in Foobar. Tried the same encoding but with FLAC instead of WAV and let it rip.
