Ok I am new to Ubuntu. Had been running 9.10 and it was fine. Updated to 10.04 and it took quite a while. Computer re started, all seemed fine. Watched some videos. Turned comp off and on several times. Then on one restart, no sound. Gnome alsa mixer opens but shows nothing. When click default sound card it starts then just vanishes.
