Important note: I'm using Project64 2.1 default plugins for simplicity. Using Jabo's Direct3D8 1.7, the sound was perfect in game using the following properties. Sync Using Audio - made the sound perfectly smooth and in-line. Fixed Audio Timing - made ear aching speech problems disappear.

Resident Evil 2 played on my 2.1 flickers and has black screens during cutscenes. I have a version of Glide on PJ64 1.6 with emulation settings, but I have none in 2.1. When I play Resident Evil 2 (RE2) on 1.6 with Azimer's Audio Plugin 0.56 WIP 1 I get scrambled scratches during cutscenes and dialog often.

I have both the ROM for Resident Evil 2 and Project64 Version 1.6, with the Video Plugin set to Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6, the Audio plugin set to Jabo's Direct Sound 1.6, and the Controller plugin set to Jabo's Directimput7 1.6. However, when I go to start up Resident Evil 2, all I get is a black screen and nothing else.
