Re-encode audio only - VideoHelp Forum

XMedia Recode has the option to "Copy" (instead of Converting) the video and encoding the audio only (and remuxing them) - I checked and it will convert to DTS at various rates . It will also allow adding in a set of videos, highlighting them and setting common settings to them all/batch them . Last edited by Sartori; 5th Jan 2018 at 13:02 .

Encoders usually encode their audio into AAC with handbrake and such. But I'm not sure if handbrake can only touch the audio. However, there are tools out there that let you strip the audio and encode it to a different format, then just mux the track back in.

audio - Is it possible to change volume with no reencode ...

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/60257883/is-it-possible-to-change-volume-with-no-reencode-with-ffmpeg
The best option is to use the same code I used above with an extra specifier: ffmpeg -i input.wav -filter:a "volume=0.2" -c:a pcm_f32le output.wav. The codec for input and output must be the same as in both 32 bit or 16 bit or else I have to add a specifier which I was shown how to do by the same person on Reddit.

Viewed 883 times 1 I have a source MP3 file, and it's unknown how many channels it has, or the sampling rate. I need to re-encode it so that the resulting file is mono and 8kHz samling rate. The format is unimportant, as long as MediaPlayer can play it. Is there anything in the SDK that allows me to do this. android audio mp3 encode Share
