The camera provides two (2) microphone jacks for recording two (2) channels of microphone level analog audio. The Pro I/O Module provides two (2) XLR connectors for recording two (2) additional channels of microphone level audio. The sensitivity of the microphone and the pre-amp gain determine the recording level of the microphone input.

Scarlet still doesn't appear to allow audio playback on camera either. SDI embedded audio works E-E, but not on playback. These features may be enabled on latest firmware, but we haven't bothered to check. No need in our workflow. DIT confirms scratch track audio on ingest to computer.
