It's very distracting. Also having the issue where some spoken dialogue sounds harsh and distorted. Ambient sounds such as wind are too loud and cannot be adjusted in audio options. The way to 'fix' it is to set windows audio to stereo, for some reason the game can not handle quadraphonic, 5.1, or 7.1 audio settings.

Just edit C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\red faction guerrilla\build\pc\cache\langs.dat It's a two lines file, I think the first line is the country determining the interface (menu text) language, the second one is the audio language.
