    Well, the buddy has a balanced/unbalanced jack output. But, the 2496 has RCA inputs, which are unbalanced. So, you'll need to get a TS to RCA input cable, or the required adapters. you should be able to get a TS to RCA adapter. NB: RCA are the red and white hi fi plugs, and TS are (effectively) the same as guitar leads.

    When recording vocals in ACID 4.0, ACID 6.0, or Adobe Audition 2.0, with the Audiophile 2496, the mic volume is very low and the audio playback is recorded simultaneously. I'm using a Behringer UB802 mixer. I have the RCA "Tape in" going to the "Out" on the card and the "Tape Out" to the "in".
