Re-install Reason and see if it works OK. Something is obviously afoot, but you need to eliminate a possible hardware failure as opposed to software as well. It's a sound card. If it was the sound card, why would the mic work fine on the computer just not on Reason, but yeah I can try on my laptop.

Some software detects it (OBS) Windows audio & my U47 gets it’s 48v & works but the audio signal is REEALY low. Guitar rig doesn’t detect the M-Track though. My machine is brand new clean install. Windows 10 x64 M-Audio has nothing to say. They have been my go to for over 15 years & the fire wire AI’s are great. Thanks for reading.
