So, I've imported the audio into a new Reaper project. My default BPM for new projects is set to 130. I've selected a portion of the bit which I'd like to loop and it's 3.4 bars long. All I want to do is change the tempo of the project so that that 3.4 bar selection becomes 4 bars, and the audio remains unaffected.

I believe if you select all your tracks' items you've recorded so far and right click -> Item Properties then change them to Time Base instead of Project BPM base, then changing the projects BPM will have no effect on the the items. (It shouldn't speed up or slow them down.) 7. level 2. Remy_C.
