So technically i am not using the Realtek HD Codec. Realtek HDMI Audio out is available as an option under Sound in the Control Panel but when i switch to it i do not get any audio out. I find it strange that there are two available HDMI audio outputs available in the Sounds settings and only one physical HDMI port available.
