Hey guys, just to say, I am having this problem also, my laptop is vista with realtek HD audio, and on cubase sx 3 with asio4all I get no audio whatsoever. When i switch back to the normal asio multimedia driver, i get audio, but the latency is something stupid like 70ms, making recording completely impossible.

Update: This is weird but i don't have the permanent solution yet. The picture shown is what the default Asio4all settings look like. But on My older laptop, "Realtek HD Audio output" and "Realtek HD Audio Stereo Input" is active, and it sends sounds thru laptop speakers and headphones when plugged in.

I tried reinstalling Realtek drivers and updating to Pro Tools 11.3.1 and still on the ASIO4ALL screen it says that my Realtek HD output and input are 'beyond logic.'. Why use ASIO4ALL if you're using the built-in sound device? Use the proper driver for the Realtek. And as far as not seeing the headphones in PT on most computers the 'phones output is the same as the built-in speakers; plugging in the cans should mute the internal speakers. So in PT select the Realtek HD audio output and you should be good to go.
