Re: UA 1176 reissue vs. Purple Audio MC77. Bad luck, lots of the linked references are gone. However, the early serial numbers up until 2002 that were supposedly correct go up to #1900. Then you enter the "dark ages" until about #2950 and subsequent to that, the correct attenuators were back into the production line.
