    It stops anywhere from 1-10 seconds after playing through mplayer. 16/44k files work fine, however. I don't think the problem is with the Hifiberry, but more with Pulseaudio which has a long history of skipping, stuttering and stopping unless you configure it just right. Once I remove pulseaudio, the hi-res audio plays fine.
