I bought my av reciever today, onkyo 506 - ive got it hooked up to my ps3 but when i try to output audio from ps3 it says 'This HDMI device cannot be used for audio output' what am i doing wrong? works fine when i connect it dirrectly to tv? thanks

Turns out, on the TV there is a setting under: Menu -> Sound -> Additional Settings -> SPDIF Output -> Audio Delay. This 'Audio Delay' option was set to 30. I set it to 0 and both the playstation and the xbox were then able to use the TV as an HDMI audio output.
