So a friend has a pal slim console running rebug, everytime he wants to use an ntsc ps1 game audio skips a lot, not only Redbook audio but xa audio too. My 120 GB Slim is about 4 years old now and I noticed it has been stuttering/skipping lately during gameplay. It is happening on both the PS3 disc games, as well as downloadable PSN games, so I don't think it's the laser. I ran the System File Restore and Rebuild Database options last night thinking it would help. Now it's even worse then ever.
