The VOB files are 4GB plus in size, and hence why I have them on the PC rather than on an external USB drive connected to a PS3. I have few H264 HD movies which are in 23.976 fps but because Bluray disk doesn't include my native audio, I added 25fps audio from DVD. These kind of files are then out of sync but when you use-ofps 25 -mc 0.005 in MEncoder or fps=25 in tsMuxeR metafile ===> movies are perfectly in sync

First I'll start by saying I use my PS3 to connect to my Plex server (via wired LAN, so no internet or wireless issues could be to blame). I don't use the actual Plex app with the PS3, I just go through the PS3's media system to play my stuff. i had a problem previously with my audio and video being out of sync.

this in general is one issue i've seen before when streaming in general that i've never experienced with a bluray disc. i think i had some issues with amazon prime on my ps3 doing this as well, or it could have just been streaming to my ps3 and running ps media server on my computer. it's extremely annoying when it happens.
