Hello everybody, this problem has been irritating for the past few days, i cant seem to figure it out. I have over 100 movies downloaded and theres only a few that have no sound, but the picture is there. The sound plays great on my computer but wont play through the media server. I have tried redownloading the movie from a different source.

The VOB files are 4GB plus in size, and hence why I have them on the PC rather than on an external USB drive connected to a PS3. When I use PS3 Media Server to play the films I have noticed that after about 1 hour or so the video and audio go out of sync. The audio stays at the current speed but the video seems to skip about.

I have an avi (XVID) file that I want to play on my Playstation 3. The file plays fine on my PC and the audio is in sync. When I try to play it on my PS3 is states that it isn't a compatible file. So while it is an XVID file something isn't formatted correctly - at least for the PS3.

this in general is one issue i've seen before when streaming in general that i've never experienced with a bluray disc. i think i had some issues with amazon prime on my ps3 doing this as well, or it could have just been streaming to my ps3 and running ps media server on my computer. it's extremely annoying when it happens.
