I swapped back to the first cables, set the system to 1080i and swapped the plug back, getting glorious 1080i picture. However, the component cables are not supplying sound to my computers speakers. I've double checked and the audio settings are going to the a/v leads, not optical or hdmi. So im not sure why im not getting sound.
