I'm using a 60GB PS3 connected to an Onkyo 876 receiver and on to a Sony HW10 projector, all connections with HDMI (all devices 1.3). The drop outs happen consistantly at certain spots (high audio level regardless of volume level). I have tried both the PS3 and the Samsung Blu-Ray player. From the Samsung both Optical and Coaxial. Works fine w/ every thing ells, just not Blu-Ray.

Oct 30, 2013. #1. This is a new issue on my PS3. Within the last couple of months, my PS3 has developed a bad lipsync issue while playing BluRay and DVDs. I've changed HDMI inputs on my receiver to see if I might have a bad input. The sync is not abnormal while playing video files, such as trailers from PSN or on my DVR.
